However, Kagome seems at once too old, and too young, and almost too sultry. If she's your basic teenaged Japanese schoolgirl, she needs younger features. I would say to use a reference for her face and figure. Inu's you can have a bit of a margin for error becuase of his robes. But I'd say definitely work on her face and body for some more realism. I can completely see where you or I or anyone else would have a problem working from imagination (and I tend to work from imagination with some drawing classes' memories to help out), and some things are just crap to draw from imagination alone. One has to trial-and-error it till it LOOKS right, even if it may not be right.
I do like the colors and the idea of this piece, so I think if you can work out the Kagome thing, it'll come out really nice.
